Tara Sandusky, APRN

Tara received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith in 2012. She continued her education by earning her Master of Science in Nursing in 2019 from the University of South Alabama. With ten years of experience, Tara has worked in critical care, from the ER to ICU, and even flight nursing. She has also worked in inpatient rehab as a hospitalist and medical management consultant.

Last year, Tara began treating patients who benefited from interventional pain management. She realized she loved this specialty and wanted to continue to practice in this field.

“Breaking the stigma of pain management is important to me. I want our patients to have the ability to make memories and continue hobbies they otherwise couldn’t participate in without treatment. At PTCOA, we will care of our referred patients in a specialty setting."



Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons when she is not working. She also enjoys watching crime thrillers and making crafts for her friends and family.
