Dr. Dennis D. McCoy

Dr. Dennis D. McCoy, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, began his educational journey at East High School in Memphis. His interest in the physical and chemical sciences led him to earn a degree in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1996.

 

Subsequently, Dr. McCoy attended Ross Medical School, graduating in 2000. He completed a surgical internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 2002, followed by an anesthesiology residency at UAMS in 2005, where he earned his board certification in Anesthesiology.

 

Driven by a commitment to comprehensive pain management, Dr. McCoy pursued a specialized fellowship at Rush University in Chicago in 2006, obtaining board certification in pain management.

 

Over the course of his extensive 20-year career, Dr. McCoy has demonstrated exceptional skill in managing a wide range of conditions, including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), lumbar and cervical degenerative diseases, diabetic neuropathy, phantom limb pain, and cancer-related pain. He was a partner in a prominent anesthesia group for seventeen years, elevating patient care in the Memphis/Mississippi region.

 

Beyond his medical profession, Dr. McCoy enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking, overlanding, and traveling.

 

Dr. McCoy's practice in anesthesiology and pain management continues to positively impact countless patients, marking a career defined by expertise, unwavering dedication, and compassionate care.
